Agustina Table Runner
About the artisans
Las Mujeres Tejedores de Yo'o Kua'a is a collective of twenty indigenous women who carry on the legacy of backstrap weaving in San Juan Colorado, Oaxaca, MX.
The coyuchi cotton featured in the design of our table runner is grown 20 minutes from where our artisans weave. A hallmark of the region, the coyuchi brings a distinct natural color to each piece.
The backstrap loom allows for the delicate patternwork of embroidery with the durability of a fully finished weave. Each table runner takes two weeks of labor to produce from start to finish.
