Is the Always Pan’s ceramic nonstick coating non-toxic?

Thermakind®, our proprietary ceramic nonstick coating, is made without potentially toxic materials like PFAS (including PTFE and PFOA), lead, and cadmium. It is composed mainly of sand derivative, water, and alcohol, and is designed to be long-lasting, easy to clean, and made to perform.

What does 10-in-1 mean?

It means we had 10 different products and functions in mind when designing this pan, and we made sure the Always Pan could do all of them. It seamlessly replaces your fry pan, saute pan, steamer, roasting dish, baking dish, skillet, saucier, nonstick pan, spatula, and spoon rest.

Does the Always Pan have a warranty?

We believe in lasting quality. That’s why the Always Pan comes with a 3-year warranty and a 100-day trial so you can take your time falling in love with it. Are ceramic nonstick pans oven safe?

Most ceramic nonstick pans are oven safe, but temperature limits vary by brand. Quality ceramic pans can typically handle 350°F to 500°F. Always check the manufacturer's specifications before transferring from stovetop to oven, and remember that handles and lids may have different temperature limits than the pan body.

Do ceramic nonstick pans need oil?

While ceramic coatings are nonstick, using a small amount of high-smoke-point oil or butter enhances performance and extends coating life. High-quality ceramic pans require much less oil than traditional cookware. Just a light coating is sufficient for excellent food release. Make sure to avoid aerosol sprays.

PFAS are nicknamed “Forever Chemicals” because they do not break down easily in the environment or in the human body. As a result, they bioaccumulate over time, making them a highly concerning chemical group. PFAS-based coatings also release toxic fumes when overheated.

The Always Pan® 2.0 is made with 100% certified post-consumer recycled aluminum. Translation: The pan is made from discarded materials (not just factory floor scraps), and all wastewater is treated and recycled in the manufacturing process. Plus, our packaging is made with biodegradable materials, innovatively designed to minimize waste.
