Better than any cast iron pan I've ever had
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this pan!!! Sometimes you just need a cast iron pan for heavy frying. This does the job better than any cast iron pan I've ever had. Right out of the box, there was no "seasoning " needed. The smooth surface was non stick and cleaned up easily.
